This place was very homely. The rooms were big and good to sleep in. The english proficiency is very high and they had prepared multiple infos regarding travel and restaurants. The onsens in the inn were very relaxing. It was easily reached from the bus stop. Can only recommend it! I however did not try the food

The Fuji-Hakone guest house is very interesting! We had a really good experience even if the weather was bad! We appreciated the private onsen and the breakfast!

It was a really nice experience. The owner is an adorable woman who was very happy that we were mexicans, she treated us with so much kindness that she made us feel so happy. Also one of the girls speaks spanish and she enjoyed practicing her spanish with us. The rooms were beautiful, the futons so comfortable and the onsens (outside and inside) were private so we enjoy our bath a lot. Wearing a yukata is amazing, we felt a little bit japannese. :) Try the breakfast, it is simple but delicious. Apples were very juicy.

We wished that we could stay here longer, but i'm sure i will be back again! All the staff are very friendly and helpful, providing tour around the house and room, and advice as to where we could go for dinner and tour about in Hakone/Mt Fuji. As we checked in only at 6pm, they had kindly helped to reserve the onsen usage for us too. Very cozy stay, the room was simple but totally perfect. Heater was working well, which is important for winter. The futon was very comfortable! Perhaps the only point to improve would be to have a water flask in the room, so we do not have to keep going out to the common area for water (or at least a cold/room temperature water alongside with the hot water in the common area) Location was ideal as it was less than 5mins walk from the bus stop. Signage could be clearly seen from the bus stop even when we arrived at 6pm and was total darkness already. Would I return? Definitely!
