Description

Tachibana Ryokan

Location: Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture

Welcome to Tachibana Ryokan. This Ryokan Hotel (see definition of ryokan styles below) has 50 traditional Japanese-style rooms, and all of the rooms have their own private toilet and bath (there are no rooms with private hot spring baths here). There are also indoor and outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same gender only) at Tachibana Ryokan. What makes these baths unique is they are all open-air baths, so guests can enjoy being surrounded by the natural beauty of Hakone. In addition to the hot spring baths, Tachibana Ryokan has saunas for both women and men. Check-in time is after 14:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am. Parking is available. Unfortunately Shojoshin-in cannot make a reservation with your American Express - please use only Visa or MasterCard. Important Travel Warning: It takes a long time to go through customs at Narita International Airport and then travel to Hakone. If your plane lands in the early morning at Narita International Airport, you can make it to a Hakone ryokan in time for dinner. However, if your plane arrives after 10:00 am you WILL NOT be able to make it in time for dinner. You should stay at least 1 night in Tokyo and then go to Hakone the next day.
