Description

Tsuribashiso - Bekkan and Hanare

Location: Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture

Welcome to the Tsuribashiso. This Modern Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) has been operating since 1865. There are 6 Japanese style rooms in the honkan (with private toilets only), 6 Japanese style rooms in the hanare (with private toilets and hot spring baths in each room), and 20 rooms in the bekkan (with private toilets and non-hot spring baths in each room). A number of hot spring baths are available to guests, including two indoor baths and two outdoor baths at the ryokan, and two outdoor baths by the riverside (all baths are same gender only).

In addition, a unique green tea bath (family bath) can be used for an extra charge of 5,250 yen for 50 minutes - called a maccha buro, this bath uses fine powdered green tea, and cold green tea is served to guests after the bath. Please reserve a green tea bath time at the front desk as early as possible. Also, since Tsuribashiso grows its own green tea, guests can participate in the harvesting and processing during harvest season if they are interested.

Traditional Japanese cuisine is served to guests at Tsuribashiso. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out is before 10:00. Parking is available.
