I don't regard this as a traditional ryokan, more lika a regular hotel room where you sleep on the floor byt pay much. I can't recommend this Ryokan at all, it's not clean and it smells of smoke. I didn't have any meals so I can't rate that.

This place was chosen because of the proximity to Tokyo Station and for that reason it worked perfectly for us. The room was really small but that happens in the heart of any city. The staff were extremely kind and allowed us to leave our luggage while we shopped some more on the last day of our trip. If you're out and about all day and into the evening this is a fine place to lay your head. (There were no meals so I cannot rate the food but the drop down box only allows 1-5 so I'll put 1. There needs to be an option for 0 or not applicable)

I chose Japanese style. I was a solo traveler. While close to Tokyo station, the subway system is so efficient that it may not matter where you are. The room was small and clean. Tatami mats and futons. I was in the hot bath with a number of men. A new experience, but this IS Japan. Had no meals there. Ate at a few small restaurants in the neighborhood and had great experiences interacting with these wonderful and engaging people. Language barrier or no, they were sincere in their interest in me. Reception people were attentive but none of them could speak English. Very affordable and a good first dive into ryokan experience.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The location wasn’t great for my needs as I was there for shopping, eating, and sight seeing and it wasn’t as near to those amenities as I would’ve liked.

Nice located hotel near Tokyo train station, without luggage easy to reach by foot. The rooms are small, but clean and silent. The served Japanese breakfast is good and you feel welcome in the hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by the Japanese receptionists and they were so polite and helpful. The room we chose was Japanese style, good enough space for 3 adults to sleep in. We were provided yukatas (robes) and slippers. The room was comfortable, although one lock was broken. We were not able to try the breakfast in the hotel -- you can opt to have a breakfast plan on reservation with additional fees -- because we wanted to try different types of food by going around Tokyo. It was also our first time to try the hot bath or ofuro; separate for males and females. We were nervous at first, as it was a public bath and we had to go nude amongst other bathers. After a while we got used to it. They provided us with body wash, shampoo, and rinse (not sure what it is for but the hotel receptionist said it was conditioner). I cannot say that the accommodation is inexpensive, but I am sure that it is not one of the expensive places to stay. Very safe area, oh and also there is a vending machine nearby that dispenses drinks for 100 yen, cheapest price. The hotel is conveniently located near the Ningyocho train station. I'd return to this hotel when we visit Tokyo again.

This Ryokan is well located and at a walking distance from Tokyo station. I stayed 2 nights; Staff and atmosphere is friendly and breakfast is fine. However, the Ryokan does not seem to be well maintained. Rooms and facilities are not as neat as expected in Japan, common bath not inspected as it should be (towels on the floor, some dirtiness)and a quick look to the kitchen is not very inspiring. This was a real disappointment.

Hotel is well located close to subway station. Room was big enough for my family (I choose japanese style). Hot bath was excellent. For breakfast I would suggest that having option for western breakfast could be a plus. People at reception and breakfast room was helpful and very polite. I would come again to this hotel when back in Tokyo.
