From Ueno Station in Tokyo, take the JR Limited Express "Super Hitachi" (Joban Line, about 65 minutes) to Mito Station, and from there take a JR Suigun Line train to Hitachi-Daigo Station (about 80 minutes). A pick-up service from Hitachi-Daigo Station is available, please let the ryokan staff know your arrival time in advance so they can meet you at the station.
