Take the express bus from JR Kanazawa Station to Yanagida-tenzaka bus stop (about 2 hours by express bus), and ryokan will pick you up from the bus stop in a shuttle car to take you to the ryokan (takes about 20 minutes more). This shuttle service requires a reservation in advance. You can also take the train from JR Kanazawa Station to JR Nanao station, and transfer there to the Noto Tetsudo rail line (private railway, cannot use JR rail pass on this line), and take the local train until Anamizu station. From Kanazawa to Anamizu station, it takes about 2.5 hours in total. From Anamizu station you can take a bus to Tsukumowan Ogi bus stop (takes about 2 hours) and take the shuttle car from there (5 minutes) to the ryokan.
