From JR Kyoto train station or JR Shin-Osaka train station, please board the Limited Express "Kuroshio" or the Ocean Arrow bound for Shirahama or Shingu (in Wakayama Prefecture). From JR Kyoto train station, it is about a 2 1/2 hour train ride to JR Kii-Tanabe train station. From JR Shin-Osaka train station, it is about a 2 hour train ride to JR Kii-Tanabe train station. At JR Kii-Tanabe train station, please board a JR bus bound for Hongu Taisha-mae and get off the bus at Fujiya-mae Bus Stop. It is about a 2 hour bus ride. If you call the ryokan from the bus stop they will come and pick you up.
