Welcome to Yamagishi Ryokan. This Modern Ryokan has 62 Japanese-style guest rooms, and all of the guest rooms have their own private bath and toilet. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring bath for both women and men (same gender only), and the hot spring baths are open 24 hours a day. Traditional Japanese-style cuisine is served to the guests at Yamagishi Ryokan and all meals are buffet style. Check-in time is after 14:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am. Parking is available

This is the worst Ryokan I had stayed. Room is extremely small for 3 guests. The room size is only fit for a single guest. We have to put the chairs in the doorway area to make more room. The room is facing the street and that should be mentioned when we made the booking. Also, this should be mentioned on the web site. I will choose another Ryokan if I know that the room is not facing the river. There are lots of choices around that area. Front desk staff did not show any hospitality. The food quality is not worth for the money. The only good thing about this Ryokan is the location.

It is a must if you come to Japan to stay at a Ryokan. This is nice and clean. The view is amazing and the people very nice. The only problem is that they not accept credit card so we couldnt have a massage. The food was delicious and the spa area was very UNIQUE!!! Hope to come back one day!!
