Welcome to the Hougetsu. This Ryokan Hotel is located on the hills of Moto Hakone on the side of the Lake Ashinoko. The restaurant in Hougetsu prepares modern Kaiseki, which is served in private rooms. In the Hougetsu all rooms have a private bathroom and some rooms have a lake view. There are also rooms with a balcony, which is great for looking at the moon and stars. The ryokan provides a massage salon where guest can relax and enjoy several kinds of body treatments, such as aromatherapy or thalassotherapy. Guest are invited to take a bath in the well known Hakone hot spring baths of the ryokan, and for pregnant women and babies there is a specific family bath with mineral water. The family bath can be reserved for private use, and 50 minutes costs 2,100 yen.
